Steps to reapply for admission
Step 1: Begin your new admission application.
Step 2: Submit your admission application. Use code UBUBALT to waive the application fee.
Step 3: Submit official transcripts from all institutions you’ve attended since leaving UBalt to [email protected].
Step 4: Apply for financial aid using UBalt’s federal school code 002102. Scholarships may be available.
Note: Your Online Application username is the email address you used to previously submit an application. If you are having issues logging in, please refer to How to Reset Your Password or contact the Office of Admission at [email protected].
If it has been 7 or more years since you initially started your academic program at The University of Baltimore, please contact an admission counselor before starting the application process.
Guidelines for re-enrolling at UBalt

Graduate students (30 credits or more)
You will need to submit a new application for admission if you were admitted and did not enroll in classes OR if you were previously enrolled and haven't registered for classes for more than three consecutive semesters (excluding summer and winter sessions).
- The exception is students who have been granted an official leave of absence in advance.
You must have been in good academic standing, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, when you left UBalt, and in any coursework you have taken since leaving.
- If you were not in good academic standing, please submit an essay in response to the prompt: "What will you do differently to succeed at UBalt?"
- Essays can be sent to [email protected]. Please include your name and UBalt Student ID number in the subject line of the email. A faculty member or academic liaison will review your application and make a decision.
Any existing balances with the University must be cleared. For more information, please contact the Office of the Bursar at 410.837.4848 or [email protected] .

Veteran and military affiliated students
The University of Baltimore follows federal policy when a service member must withdraw from classes and wishes to be readmitted to the school.
